Role and Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently using forklifts, or by hand
Organize and stock materials in designated areas to maintain a clean, efficient yard layout
Assist coworkers with locating and moving materials
Perform routine checks on equipment and inform management of issues
Maintain yard/shop/garage cleanliness, including sweeping, debris removal, and waste disposal
Adhere to all company safety standards and report any hazards or incidents immediately
Assist with inventory counts and tracking material usage
Ensure company vehicles are cleaned and kept in good condition
Running misc. errands based on business need

Qualifications

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction environment preferred
Forklift or skid steer experience (preferred)
Ability to lift 50–80 lbs. and work in outdoor environments (heat, cold, rain, snow)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic mechanical knowledge is an asset
Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team setting
Valid driver’s license with a clean record preferred
